Description
Mowbray Cottage is a house dating from the 18th to 19th century, constructed of gault brick with a grey slate roof that is hipped to the left. The building features two off-centre chimney stacks located on the left and rear. A parapet extends over a narrow recessed bay to the right, with a single bay lean-to on the left. The cottage is two storeys high and includes cellars. It has a three-window range of small-paned vertically sliding sash windows, which are topped with printed gauged arches. There is an extension with a window to the left, and the central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a moulded surround and a flat canopy above.
