The building dates from the 16th century but features 19th-century elevations. It has a timber-framed and plastered structure with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, and there is a short brick chimney stack on the left where it meets No. 74. The cottage is two storeys high and has a one-window front with glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there is a small oriel window at the right end above a large lattice window.
