Description

Island Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed and covered in incised render, featuring a brick modillion cornice beneath a plain tiled hipped roof. The cottage has a central ridge stack and a lean-to addition on the left side. It stands two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of seven windows on both floors, which are fitted with wooden casements. There are 20th-century double-glazed doors on the right, accompanied by a stone columned porch.
