Description

Gates and walls to The Church House date from circa 1870. They are constructed of Kentish rag-stone rubble with ashlar dressings. A lower wall features pyramidal and regular piers connected by decorative, foliated cast-iron railings. Gates are located at the east and west ends of the north street, with cast-iron finials to the piers and matching gates present only in the eastern gateway. The western gateway has had its gates removed.
