Description
Old Cardicote White Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages. It dates back to the 16th century, with alterations made to the right side in the later 18th century and to the left side in the 19th century. The building features red and blue brick, with a band on a part random rubble plinth to the left, while the right side is plastered on a rubble plinth and painted, showcasing a first-floor jetty supported by corner brackets. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right with a hipped return gable over the jetty. There is a central ridge stack to the left and an end stack to the right. The structure has two storeys, with one 18th-century glazing bar sash window on each floor to the right (White Cottage) and a three-casement front, some with segment heads, to the left (Old Cardicote). A half-glazed panelled door is located to the right under the gable, and there is a half-glazed door in the centre of the left-hand block.
