Description

Milestone located on the north side of London Road in Ryarsh, dating from the mid 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a square base that transitions to a diamond shape at the top. The milestone features raised lettering that reads "TO LONDON 28" above and "RYARSH" above "MAIDSTONE 6 - WROTHAM 4" below.
