Description

The Wheatsheaf Inn is a public house that was originally built as a house in 1792. It features coursed stone blocks with red and blue brick in the gables, and has a plain tiled roof with two hipped dormers and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window facade with glazing bar sash windows arranged in a regular pattern. To the right of the central window on the first floor, there is a panel inscribed with "I. W. A." Additionally, there is a projecting one-storey rendered public house extension at the front, which dates back to 1742, although this extension is not listed.
