Description
Milestone located on the south side of London Road in Slough, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of white painted stone with black lettering. The milestone has an angled square plan, featuring a weathered top and one corner that is faceted for the inscription. The inscriptions indicate distances: to the north, it reads "LONDON 19"; to the east, "SLOUGH 1"; and to the west, "COLNBROOK 2."
