Description

Milestone dating from the late 18th century. It is made of white painted stone with black lettering. The milestone has an angled square plan with a weathered top and one corner faceted for the inscription. The inscriptions indicate distances: to the north is "LONDON 21", to the east "MAIDENHEAD 5", and to the west "SLOUGH ½".
