Description
Milestone dating from the late 18th century. It is made of white painted stone and has an angled square plan with a weathered top. One corner is faceted for the inscription. The inscriptions read: to the north, "LONDON 18"; to the east, "SLOUGH 2"; to the west, "COLNBROOK 1"; and to the south, "XVIII miles to Hyde Park Corner. 1741."
