Description

The Red Lion Public House is a 17th-century building that was refronted in the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with colour-washed brick and an old tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two gabled dormers. The first floor has three sash windows and a brick string course at the first floor level. The ground floor includes two bay windows with flat roofs that connect to form a porch over the door, along with a sash window set in a quoined recess that was formerly a doorway. All windows have glazing bars. To the left, there is a one-storey lean-to that is partly weather-boarded and has a slate roof. To the right, there is a one-storey modern extension.
