Description
The Ostrich Public House is a 16th-century building located on the south side of High Street in Colnbrook. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster infilling and a machine tile roof. The building stands two storeys tall, with the first floor oversailing on brackets and corbels, and gables at each end. The first floor has seven modern casement windows, while the ground floor includes a central carriageway. To the right, there is a 19th-century shopfront, and to the left, a 19th-century entrance to the saloon bar, which has a traceried door and side windows. The building also contains three 18th-century sash windows, two of which are single-hung and one double-hung. Inside, there is a staircase and panelling.
