Description
Lucas (Newsagent) is a building from the 17th century that was refronted in the 18th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and has a machine tile roof. The building stands two storeys high. On the first floor, there is one double-hung sash window with a 1:3:1 configuration, one sliding casement window, and another double-hung sash window with a 1:3:1 configuration. The ground floor features a much-altered shop front, likely from the 18th century, which includes central double doors, a fascia board, a door, and a small fixed shop window. Additionally, there is exposed timber-framing on the left-hand return of the building.
