Description
The former school, now known as Colnbrook Youth Centre, was built in 1858 by architect G E Street. It is designed in a style similar to the former Master's Residence and features stock brick with red brick dressings. The roof is slate, with some sections having half-hexagonal ends, and the building has half-hipped gables. It is a single-storey structure with windows that have 'Gothic' arches, alternating between red and stock bricks. The windows also include wooden mullions and transoms. Originally, the building had a T-shaped plan with a gabled porch at the north angle, and there is an additional wing added to the south side in the later 19th century.
