Description
Mill House and Tanhouse Farmhouse, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, are located on Mill Street in Colnbrook. The buildings are timber-framed at the rear and feature painted brickwork. They are arranged in an L-plan, with a long wing facing the road, and have a colour-washed brick exterior topped with an old tile roof.
The road-facing section on the left is from the early 18th century and has two storeys. The first floor features three flush sash windows with glazing bars and a floor band, while the ground floor has four sash windows and a door with a timber hood. The right-hand section, dating from the 17th century, has a stuccoed first floor with two sliding casements. The ground floor includes one sliding casement, a modern door, and two three-light windows. The garden front is also stuccoed, with two storeys that contain casement and sash windows.
