Description

Fairmead and The Haven are an early 19th-century pair of houses. They are built of yellow brick with gauged brick flat arches, and the front is framed by slight pier strips; the right-hand pier strip features a lamp bracket. An additional bay has been added to the right, incorporating an elliptical-headed carriageway and an elliptical-headed window above it. The roof is tiled and hipped to the right. The houses have two storeys and four windows, which are sash windows with 19th-century glazing. The front doors are panelled with two panels each and have transom lights within the reveals. A bracketed eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. To the rear are two extensions, the right-hand one appearing older due to its steep gable. The rear of the carriageway loft is weatherboarded.
