Description

Ditton Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that has been altered since its original construction. It features an old tile roof. The exterior is brick, with a prominent plat band at the first floor level, a brick dentil eaves course, and parapets to the gables. On the first floor, there are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and a fixed light with fifteen panes, all with stone sills. A tall staircase window is also present. The ground floor has four double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and stone sills, with two windows positioned to the right. The windows have 19th-century raised brick surrounds and a brick keystone. The main entrance is a 19th-century six-panelled door, sheltered by a flat hood supported on consoles, and above it is a rectangular fanlight with 19th-century stained glass.
