Description
The main gatehouse and bridge at the Admiralty Compass Observatory in Ditton Park is a 18th-century structure. The gatehouse is rendered brick and features towers with turrets, crenellations, and lancet windows flanking an arched gateway. An 18th-century brick bridge provides access over the moat and is complemented by a simple iron balustrade.
