Description
Riding Court Farmhouse is a 18th-century rebuild of a 17th-century timber frame structure. It is two storeys high with attics and features red brick construction, a plat band at the first floor, a brick pediment with a blank semi-circular recess, brick coping, and a dentil cornice. The design is symmetrical, with five double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars set in reveals, cills, and cambered heads made of rubbed brick. The centre window has been painted over a blocked opening. There is a later heavy central brick porch with a pediment. The farmhouse has flanking chimneys and single-storey wings with hipped old tile roofs. The original double pile old tile roof has been altered to include a flat roof between, with hipped ends at the rear.
