Description

This is a timber-frame house, originally two cottages, situated on the east side of High Street, East Malling and Larkfield. It likely dates from the 17th century, with later alterations. The house is rendered with plain tiled roofs and end stacks. It comprises two blocks, the right-hand block projecting slightly with a lower roof pitch. The construction includes random rubble stone and brick at the right-hand end. The house has two storeys, with one window in each block. These windows are primarily casements, with a canted bay window on the ground floor to the left. A boarded door is located to the left of the left-hand block, and a Kentucky door is to the left of the right-hand block. A random rubble stone wing extends to the rear.
