Description

This is a group of 18th-century cottages located on Mill Street, East Malling and Larkfield. They are constructed of red brick with the central portion of the building tile-hung to the first floor. The roofs are tiled, with stacks positioned off-ridge at the rear, except for the left-hand wing. The cottages are arranged around a small, square garden, with the wings slightly splayed. The buildings are two storeys high, featuring three windows in the central section and two windows in the other sections. The windows are glazing bar sashes. The wings each have a central entrance door, with two additional doors located to the left and right of the central wing. All doors are boarded. At the end of the right-hand wing, facing the road, there is a large, bowed shop window framed by a fluted pilaster with an entablature head.
