Description

The Forge House is a house, possibly built as a forge, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plinth and a plat-band. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, and there are two brick stacks at the rear. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are glazing bar sashes. The central window on the first floor has been blocked since the time of the last survey. The ground floor windows have gauged heads and prominent keystones. There is a central half-glazed door with an overlight and a flat projecting hood supported by curved brackets.
