Description

The Vicarage is a house dating to around 1820, situated on the east side of High Street, East Malling and Larkfield. It is constructed of stuccoed brick, with an incised plinth. The roof is slated and hipped, with end stacks. The house has two storeys and originally three windows, featuring glazing bar sashes. A central entrance is marked by panelled reveals, a wreathed and radiating fanlight over the door, and a panelled door itself. Above the door is a Greek Doric doorcase with a flat-hooded entablature. Later additions, one-storey and hipped roofed, extend to the left and right; the left-hand addition contains a blocked window.
