Description
The Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was originally a hall-house, dating from the early 16th century, with 19th and early 20th century additions. It features a timber-framed structure with a red brick ground floor and a tile-hung first floor. The roof is plain tiled, more steeply pitched in the center, with lower eaves on each side. There is a ridge stack to the left and a flat-headed dormer. The building has two storeys with an irregular arrangement of windows, including four on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all of which are casements. There are two small canted bay windows on the ground floor to the left, and two doors, each positioned on either side of the center, both with small weather-hoods. A wing extends to the rear on the right.
