Description

Cedar House is a house that was originally a hall-house, dating from the 16th century with 18th-century elevations. It features a timber frame with a rendered ground floor and weatherboarded first floor and gables, with some exposed framing visible on the left return front. The roof is half-hipped and has plain tiles, along with a large moulded brick ridge stack and a small off-ridge stack to the rear on the right. The house has two storeys and a front with three widely spaced windows, which are 20th-century wooden casements. Above the porch, there is a small casement on the first floor. To the left of the right-hand window, there is a gabled weather porch with a 20th-century door.
