Description
No. 10 is a terrace house located on Albion Place in Ramsgate, built between 1789 and 1792. The building features a stock brick exterior that is partly rendered and painted, topped with a slate roof. It has four storeys and a basement, characterized by a rustic base and a parapet, with a stack positioned to the left.
On the third and second floors, there are two sash windows with gauged heads, while the first floor has two French windows and a wooden casement window to the left. The house includes a tented verandah supported by trellised piers, with valancing and Gothick-style rails. The ground floor has two sash windows and a half-glazed door to the right, which is topped by a semi-circular fanlight and accessed by five steps. The basement features a sash window with vertical glazing bars and an outer door. The steps are bordered by simple rails, and the area is enclosed with spearhead rails that have baluster finial principals.
