Description

This is a terrace row dating to around 1830 in Ramsgate. The building is largely stock brick, with painted sections, and has a slate roof. It comprises a central three-storey and basement block flanked by two-storey and basement wings. Parapet detailing and doubled stacks are visible to the right and left of the main block. The second floor has four sash windows, and the first floor windows retain some original glazing bars. The basement and ground floors feature four bowed bay windows, each with two sashes; the left-hand bay retains intact glazing bars, while others show only vertical bars. The right-hand bow is painted on the first floor, while the others are basement level only. A half-glazed door is on the left, and a six-panelled door with a semi-circular surround is on the right, both accessed by flights of four and five steps with simple ironwork rails. All window and door openings have gauged heads. 20th-century iron railings enclose the basement areas. The return elevations have boarded doors with a glazing bar sash window above.
