Description

This is a terrace house dating to around 1830, situated within Adelaide Gardens, Ramsgate. The building is constructed of stock brick with a rendered base and a slate roof. It is four storeys high, with a basement, and features a parapet and a chimney stack on the left side. The upper floors have glazing bar sash windows. A two-storey bow window with glazing bar sashes projects from the ground floor. A half-glazed door, accompanied by a semi-circular fanlight and a flight of four steps, is located to the left, while a basement opening is on the right. The area was developed by James Townley from a former barracks site by 1840.
