Description

This is a row of four early to mid-19th century townhouses on Belvedere Road in Broadstairs. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a parapet and a moulded eaves cornice. There are twelve sash windows in total, some retaining their original glazing bars. Numbers 39 and 41 each have a doorcase featuring a cornice, pilasters, and panelled reveals, leading to four-panelled doors. Number 43 has an open, pedimented doorcase with pilasters and panelled reveals, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. Numbers 39 to 43 form a group and contribute to the group value of the street.
