Description
Bradstow House is located on the south side of High Street in Broadstairs and dates from the early 18th century. Originally built as one house, it has since been converted into a house and shops. The building is three storeys high with attics and features a flint-faced exterior complemented by red brick dressings and quoins. It has a parapet and four sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. An iron balcony is present on the first floor. The left side of the building includes a five-light bay window for No 9, which contains a doorcase. There is a 19th-century shop front at No 15. The central doorcase is simple and flanked by pilasters, leading to the panelled door for the flats at Nos 11A and 11B, which are part of Bradstow House. This building forms a group with Nos 9 to 15, which are listed buildings in Serene Place.
