No. 14 Albion Street is an early 19th-century building that stands four storeys high with a basement and is colourwashed. It features stone coping and has a three-light bay window that extends from the first to the third floors. The ground floor includes a projecting porch supported by Tuscan pilasters, which are separated by sash windows. The elevation facing Albion Street has a later 19th-century shop front. This building was previously known as Hale's lending library. No. 14 is part of a group that includes Nos. 14 to 26 (even), as well as Nos. 30 and 32.
