Description
This is a pair of houses on High Street, Ramsgate, built in the mid-18th century. The houses are constructed of brown brick with interlocking tiles to the roof. They are two storeys and an attic, with a basement, and sit on a plinth. The buildings have a parapet and a gabled roof with two flat-roofed dormers and stacks to the rear. The first floor has four sash windows; the ground floor has two sash windows with segmental heads. Basement openings are present to the left and right. A central entrance features two half-glazed doors. The houses appear on Collard and Hurst's 1822 plan of Ramsgate and are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
