Description
No. 154 is a house and surgery built in the late 18th century, constructed from stock brick. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and basement, featuring cill bands on each floor and a parapet at the roof, which includes a flat-roofed dormer and a stack on the right side. The second floor has three sash windows, while the first floor has three glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has two sash windows, and there is one window in the basement, all with rendered heads. To the left, there is a door with six raised and fielded panels set in a panelled recessed porch, which has a blocked traceried rectangular fanlight and a pilastered surround. Access is provided by a flight of five curving moulded steps with simple rails. The forecourt is enclosed by a low wall with cast iron fleur-de-lys rails on the left-hand section.
