Description

No. 152 High Street is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of stock brick and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and features stacks at the rear. On the second floor, there are two replacement windows from the 20th century, while on the first floor, there is one replacement window to the right and a two-storey bow window to the left, which has two windows on each floor, all with gauged heads, some of which are painted. To the right, there is a glazed door topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight in a gauged surround, as shown in Collard and Hurst's 1822 plan of Ramsgate. This house is included for its group value.
