Description
Oddfellows Hall is a house that has been converted into a clubhouse. It dates from the early 18th century and was altered in the mid-20th century. The building is rendered and features an interlocking tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, along with a basement set on a plinth. The roof has boxed eaves and Dutch shaped gables, with three flat-roofed dormers and chimney stacks at both ends.
On the first floor, there are four sash windows, while the ground floor has two sash windows and basement openings on both the left and right sides. The central entrance features a boarded door within a rusticated porch that has a cornice, parapet, and sidelights. To the left, there is an additional two-storey range made of red brick with a parapet, which has one glazing bar sash window with a gauged head on each floor. The rear of the building has large additions from various dates. Oddfellows Hall is depicted in the plans by Collard and Hurst from 1822 and 1735.
