Description

This is a pair of semi-detached houses located in Dulwich Village. They were originally built in the mid-18th century and have undergone later alterations. The houses are constructed of red brick and feature hipped, tiled mansard roofs with dormers and a central chimney stack behind a coped parapet. Each house has two full storeys, a half-exposed basement, and an attic. The main facade features a single bay, with recessed, one-bay entrance extensions to either side. Steps lead to the front doors, which are set within timber doorcases with an alternating block surround; number 60 has a porch and iron railing. Later, full-height canted bay windows with slated roofs have been added to the main sections. The windows are plate-glass boxed sashes, and those on the ground floor are fitted with cast-iron guards. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
