Description
Crossways is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses located on Cromer Road in Aylsham. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof. They stand two storeys high with an attic. Each house has a facade consisting of three bays, where the first and third bays are slightly recessed. The central doorways have semi-circular arched heads and fanlights with radiating glazing bars. There are three flat-roofed dormers with sashes. The houses are topped with two brick chimney stacks, one located centrally and the other at the south end. Number 15 includes a later full-width bay with a hipped slate roof. The front boundary is marked by a brick wall, complemented by iron gates, gateposts, and railings. The eaves feature a cornice.
