Description
Parmeter's and Clyde Cottage is a late 17th century building, with later additions, located on Cromer Road in Aylsham. The structure is made of brick and flint, with some parts colourwashed, and features a steep-pitched pantile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with shaped gables and internal brick chimney stacks. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and flat rubbed arches. There are moulded brick string courses on the south and east sides, as well as a moulded brick eaves course on the east.
To the west, there is a one-storey extension with a canopied roof and sash windows that include margin lights and glazing bars. To the south, there is another one-storey extension with a hipped slate roof. A gabled two-storey wing to the east has casement windows with leaded lights, and there is a gabled dormer featuring leaded glazing.
