Description

Percy House is a late 18th- and early 19th-century building in East Borough, with a later extension added in a matching style to the south. The walls are rendered, and the roof is tiled, topped with a parapet. One brick stack is rendered. The building is two storeys high with attics. The ground floor features a four-panel moulded panel door within a decorative classical surround, incorporating a broken pediment, reeded pilasters, and an ornamental fanlight. Three double-hung sash windows without their original glazing bars are situated on the ground floor, with four similar windows above. Dormers with lead flat roofs and moulded cornices provide attic access. The south extension mirrors the original design, featuring three-light double-hung sash windows on both ground and first floors, and a single attic dormer. A two-storeyed wing at the rear, likely part of an earlier structure, is visible and has colour-washed brick walls and a tiled roof.
