Description

No 12 (L F King), formerly known as Minster Ice Cream Parlour, is an 18th-century building located in The Square. It features rendered walls and a tiled roof with a slate eaves course, along with brick stacks. The structure has two storeys and attics. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the first floor includes two double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The attic features two dormers with lead flat roofs and pivoted windows that also have glazing bars. Notably, this building appears to have originally been part of a single structure with Wilson and Son on High Street, sharing a blocked window at the first-floor level that is smaller and possibly older than the existing windows in both buildings.
