Description
Ramsbury House, located at No 16 The Square, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building features walls that are partly brick and partly faced with mathematical tiles, topped by a tiled roof and a moulded dentil cornice at the eaves. It stands two storeys high with attics. The elevation facing The Square includes modern shop fronts on the ground floor, while the first floor has five double hung sash windows with glazing bars. The attic features two dormers with hipped roofs and double hung sash windows with glazing bars. On the elevation to Church Street, there are modern doorways on the ground floor, and the first floor has three double hung sash windows with glazing bars. The attic here has three gabled dormers with modern casements.
