Description

Woolworths is a late 18th to early 19th century building located at No. 17 The Square. It features brick walls with a roof that is concealed behind a parapet. The building stands three storeys tall. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the first and second floors each have three double hung sash windows, two of which have glazing bars and one that is blocked, with painted glazing. There are stone band courses at the second floor level and at the base of the parapet. The elevation facing West Street has a gabled design and includes double hung sash windows on the ground and first floors, with one window now blocked.
