Description
No 1 West Borough is an 18th-century building with brick walls laid in header bond and a brick dentil cornice at the eaves. It features a tiled roof with a stone eaves course and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a central doorway. The entrance consists of a six-panel moulded panel door topped by a fanlight with Gothic-style glazing, framed by a broken pediment on console brackets and moulded pilasters. There are two inserted shop windows that are canted bays with glazing bars and moulded cornices, along with glazed shop doors. On the first floor, there are three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, each adorned with stone keystones above the arches. The attic includes two flat-roofed dormers, each featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars.
