Description
Nos 2 and 4 West Borough are 18th-century buildings that are now part of Barclays Bank. They feature brick walls and a brick dentil cornice at the eaves, with a tiled roof and stone eaves courses. A plastered platband runs at first floor level. The buildings are two storeys high. The ground floor has two part-glazed doors and four two-light double-hung sash windows, two of which have glazing bars. The first floor contains six double-hung sash windows, three of which have glazing bars. Number 2 has raised plastered quoins at each end of the facade and a door with a rusticated surround, which may be a recent addition. The first-floor rooms have 18th-century dados with raised panels.
