Description
Dumbleton F C Douch and Son is a 19th-century building located in The Square. It features brick walls with a roof that is concealed behind a parapet. The building stands three storeys tall. The ground floor has 19th-century shop fronts that include vertical glazing bars, along with four doors—two solid panel and two part glazed. There is a stone string course at the first floor level. The first floor contains four double hung sash windows, which have vertical glazing bars, stone surrounds, pediments, and cast iron balconettes. A string course runs along the second floor cill level, which also has four double hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars set in moulded stone surrounds. At the base of the parapet, there is a stone cornice, and the brick parapet features a central recessed panel with brick capping. This building is included for its group value.
