Description
No 6 Bourbon Street is a 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic. It is constructed of brick featuring vitreous headers and red brick dressings. The building has a moulded string at the first-floor level and a moulded brick cornice string above the first-floor windows. The roof is covered with old tiles and includes one dormer window.
On the first floor, there are two early 19th-century, one-storey, flat angular bays, although the glazing bars have been removed. These bays flank a central brick panel that has a cut rubber head and a moulded brick cill. To the left on the ground floor, there is a late 19th-century window, while to the right, there is a three-light sash window, also with removed glazing bars. The central entrance features a six-panelled recessed door topped by an arched radiating fanlight, set in panelled reveals with a reeded architrave surrounding the opening.
This building is part of a group with Nos 10 to 18 Bourbon Street.
