Description
No 15 Market Place is an 18th-century building constructed of colourwashed brick with a steep-pitched pantile roof. It has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar. The first floor features four sash windows, while the ground floor has two sash windows with glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. The central entrance includes a simple doorcase with a canopy supported by console brackets, a panelled reveal, and a part-glazed panelled door. There are three flat-roofed dormers with casements that have leaded lights. A plain brick string course runs at first floor level, with plain brick centre and corner pilasters above. On the right side, there is a semi-circular headed opening with a keystone and imposts. The building has brick dentil eaves and parapeted, coped gables with internal chimney stacks.
