Description
Number 17, including the forecourt wall and railings, is a building from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The building stands two storeys tall and has sash windows with rendered surrounds and keys. A moulded stone string course runs along the first floor level, and there are rusticated brick quoins at the corners. The eaves are moulded brick. The entrance is located on the left side and has a semi-circular headed rusticated stone surround with a vermiculated key and imposts. There is a central chimney and a wing extending to the west. To the east, there is a forecourt enclosed by iron railings on a low red brick wall. This building is included for its group value.
