Description
Number 14 in Market Place is a late 18th-century building that is plastered and colourwashed, topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two sash windows on the first floor and a flat-roofed dormer with another sash window. The shop front is notable for its two entrances, which consist of part-glazed and panelled doors adorned with decorative fanlights. These entrance doors are flanked by engaged Ionic columns that support an entablature. A chemist's trade sign is centrally placed above the doors, and there is a bracketed eaves cornice. To the west, there is a projecting hipped wing.
