Description
Nos 12 and 13 Market Place is a mid-18th century building constructed of colourwashed brick with a grey pantile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five first-floor sash windows with flat rubbed brick arches and vermiculated keystones. The ground floor includes two sash windows and an entrance door to No 12, along with a well-preserved 19th-century shop front that has Ionic corner pilasters and a central doorway leading to No 13. The building also has three flat-roofed dormers with sash windows, an off-centre chimney stack, and a parapeted north gable that includes another chimney stack.
